Chelsea Jagar, Attorney Chelsea was born and raised in middle Tennessee. Although she loves and misses the country life, her family, and the farm she grew up on, she also loves her life here in the Bay Area. From sky diving in Byron, caving in Vallecito, crabbing in Monterey, to enjoying a bonfire at Ocean Beach, Chelsea and her husband try to take advantage of all the beauties and adventures Northern California has to offer.

Chelsea relocated to the Bay Area with her husband, a prior Army Ranger and current Oakland Police Officer in 2007.  Prior to her relocation she graduated with honors from Volunteer State Community College with her Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies and from Middle Tennessee State University with her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science.

After settling in to her new home, Chelsea began attending Golden Gate University School of Law and graduated in Year 2010.  During law school Chelsea interned with the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office and the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office.  Shortly after graduation and being admitted to the State Bar, Chelsea began practicing family law and hasn’t looked back.

Chelsea has been practicing family law for almost five years and she has a knack for dealing with the nitty gritty.  Chelsea is very detail oriented, sometimes to a fault, and she loves nothing more than digging in to a stack of paper work and running numbers.

Chelsea has volunteered with the Alameda County Court’s as a Settlement Conference Commissioner on numerous occasions and has a wonderful working relationship with several of the Judge’s in Alameda County.

When Chelsea isn’t working she enjoys spending time with her family, eating good food, and traveling.  Before the recent birth of their beautiful daughter, Chelsea and her husband were traveling to Thailand, Laos, Miramar, Turkey, Mexico, and various islands in the Caribbean.  They plan to travel domestically while their children are young and continue their international trekking as soon as the little one(s) are old enough to take the long plane rides. If you have any recommendations for travel locations, she would love to hear them.  They are looking forward to traveling to Disney World, Oregon, the Grand Canyon, New York, and Ireland in the near future.
